Terms of Service

By creating an account, accessing, or using the Services, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, you must not use the Services. These Terms form a legally binding agreement between you and the applicable TalenDir legal entities and operating presences identified in these Terms.

You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into a binding contract to use the Services. You represent and warrant that the information you provide is accurate and that you will keep it current. If you use the Services on behalf of an organization, you represent you have authority to bind that organization to these Terms.

TalenDir provides a technology platform that may include the following features, which may change over time:

• Applicant tracking and candidate management tools for employers
• Technical assessment tools for skill evaluation and screening
• Learning and professional development features
• AI-assisted resume parsing, tailoring, and enhancement tools
• Licensure guidance tools and informational resources
• Social networking features such as posts, comments, endorsements, and referrals
• Job discovery, advanced search, and application tools
• Recruiter licensing, verification, and premium hiring services

To access certain features, you must create an account. You agree to:

• Provide accurate, current, and complete registration information
• Maintain the confidentiality of your credentials and not share them with others
• Use accounts and licenses only for your own authorized use; no sharing, reselling, or sublicensing
• Use reasonable security safeguards (e.g., enabling stronger authentication where available)
• Notify us promptly of any suspected unauthorized access or security incident
• Be responsible for all activity that occurs under your account
• Keep profile and contact information updated so employers and users can reach you when you choose to share it

You agree to use the Services responsibly, professionally, and in compliance with applicable laws. You will not:

• Provide false, misleading, defamatory, or inaccurate information on your profile, resume, applications, or posts
• Impersonate any person or entity, or misrepresent affiliation with an organization
• Upload or share content that infringes intellectual property, privacy, or other rights of others
• Publish personal data of others without a lawful basis or appropriate consent
• Interfere with or disrupt the Services, servers, or security features
• Use bots, scrapers, automated scripts, or bulk extraction tools without our written authorization
• Attempt to bypass access controls, rate limits, paywalls, or security protections
• Upload viruses, malware, or malicious code, or attempt to probe, scan, or test system vulnerabilities
• Use the platform for any unlawful, abusive, discriminatory, harassing, or harmful purpose
• Post roles or contact candidates without proper authority or for non-recruitment marketing

TalenDir may offer AI-assisted features, including resume parsing, tailoring, and drafting support. By using these features, you agree to:

• Grant TalenDir the right to process your uploaded documents and text inputs to provide the requested AI-assisted features
• Understand that AI outputs are generated automatically and may be incomplete, inaccurate, or unsuitable without human review
• Review, verify, and approve all outputs before using them, publishing them, or submitting them to any employer or third party
• Acknowledge that AI-assisted services do not guarantee job placement, interviews, offers, or outcomes
• Take full responsibility for the accuracy, legality, and truthfulness of your final submitted content
• Acknowledge that providing a job description or employer requirements may involve processing and may be shared with relevant systems needed to deliver the service
• Submit only content you are authorized to share and avoid confidential or restricted data unless permitted by law

AI-assisted content is provided “as is” and without warranties of accuracy, completeness, non-infringement, or fitness for any purpose. You agree not to rely solely on AI outputs. TalenDir is not responsible for decisions, actions, or outcomes by employers or third parties based on your use of AI-assisted features.

TalenDir and its licensors own all rights, title, and interest in and to the Services, including software, designs, text, graphics, trademarks, and related intellectual property. You receive a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use the Services for personal or internal business purposes, subject to these Terms.

You retain ownership of content you submit (“User Content”). By submitting User Content, you grant TalenDir a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, sublicensable license to host, store, reproduce, modify (for formatting and compatibility), distribute, display, and otherwise use User Content solely to provide, operate, secure, and improve the Services, and to enable sharing as directed by you (including sharing with employers when you apply or choose visibility settings). You represent and warrant that you have the rights and permissions necessary to grant this license.

TalenDir is designed to support a professional community. We may use automated and human review tools to enforce standards and protect users. We are not obligated to monitor all content, but we reserve the right to review, remove, restrict, or disable access to any content or account at our discretion, including to address legal risk, safety concerns, policy violations, or reputational harm.

• Content removal or restriction with or without prior notice
• Warnings for minor violations
• Temporary limits or suspension for repeated violations
• Permanent termination for severe or repeated misconduct
• Reporting and escalation to relevant authorities where required or appropriate
• Requests for documentation to verify authority, licensing, or compliance

Content that includes profanity or abusive language may trigger warnings, reduced distribution, restrictions, or removal. Repeated violations may result in posting limits or account action.

You may not use the Services for any illegal or unauthorized purpose. Prohibited activities include (without limitation):

• Posting discriminatory, hateful, harassing, sexually explicit, violent, or otherwise inappropriate content
• Attempting to gain unauthorized access to systems, accounts, or data
• Scraping, data mining, bulk downloading, or indexing the platform without permission
• Reverse engineering, circumventing technical protections, or interfering with security features
• Bypassing usage limits, quotas, CAPTCHA, or other access controls
• Spamming, phishing, social engineering, or sending unsolicited commercial messages
• Using the Services to violate privacy rights or confidentiality obligations
• Misrepresenting job postings, compensation, employer identity, or hiring intent
• Facilitating fraud, identity misuse, or document forgery
• Circumventing moderation actions, bans, or enforcement measures
• Sharing, sublicensing, or reselling access to the Services or any data
• Using platform data to build or train a competing database, model, or service
• Framing, mirroring, or embedding the Services or accessing them through unauthorized interfaces
• Requesting or accepting fees from candidates for interviews, offers, or access to roles
• Using contact details to send marketing or non-recruitment communications

Certain features require payment. By purchasing paid services, you agree to:

• Pay all applicable fees as displayed at the time of purchase (including applicable taxes where required)
• Provide accurate billing information and keep it up to date
• Authorize charges through our payment processor and comply with their terms
• Acknowledge that pricing, features, and availability may change, and promotional pricing may be time-limited
• Understand that paid services are typically prepaid and may be non-refundable once processing begins, except where required by law
• Accept that we may set off amounts owed to us against credits or refunds otherwise due
• Recognize that payment processing is handled by third-party gateways and delays or failures may occur outside our control
• Provide any verification or documentation required to activate paid services

Resume tailoring and similar AI-assisted deliverables are digital services. Once processing begins, the service is considered initiated and may be NON-REFUNDABLE to the maximum extent permitted by law. If a technical failure prevents delivery, we may offer a retry, credit, or refund at our discretion or as required by law.

Free tier usage limits may apply and may change over time. Where offered, free tier users may receive limited resume outputs within a defined period. Additional downloads or formats may require payment.

If you believe a charge is incorrect, you must notify us promptly. Payment disputes should be raised within 7 days of the transaction date. Contact contact.us@talendir.com with the transaction details. Unauthorized chargebacks or fraudulent disputes may result in account restriction.

Recruiters and employers are responsible for using hiring tools lawfully, accurately, and only under approved company authority.

• TalenDir may reject, edit, remove, suspend, disable, or delete jobs, employer pages, recruiter accounts, and recruiter access at its discretion to the extent permitted by law.
• Recruiters and employers are responsible for the legality, accuracy, non-discrimination, compensation clarity, and authority behind each job post and hiring communication.
• TalenDir does not guarantee job visibility, traffic, applicants, interviews, offers, hires, campaign performance, or advertising outcomes.
• AI-generated job descriptions, ad copy, and hiring content are drafts only. Recruiters must review, correct, and approve them before publication or external use.
• Recruiter boost requests, premium recruiter services, and related advertising support may be handled through off-platform commercial agreements and manual invoicing.

We may suspend or terminate your account and access to the Services at any time, with or without notice, including if we believe you violated these Terms, created risk, or harmed the platform or other users. We may request documentation to confirm authority or compliance, and failure to provide it may result in suspension. You may terminate your account through settings where available. Upon termination, your right to use the Services stops immediately. Fees paid may be forfeited to the extent permitted by law when termination is due to breach. Provisions that by their nature should survive (including intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability, and indemnification) will survive termination.

The Services are provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind. We do not warrant that the Services will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure. TalenDir does not guarantee job placement, employer responses, interviews, offers, or employment outcomes, and does not validate the authenticity of employers or candidates. Employers and third parties control their own decisions, processes, and systems (including application forms and screening). You use the Services at your own risk and should conduct your own checks.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, TalenDir will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, revenue, opportunities, goodwill, data, or business interruption arising from or related to your use of the Services, interactions with employers or users, or any third-party tools or platforms (including payment processors). Our total liability for any claim will not exceed the amounts you paid to TalenDir for the Services in the 12 months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless TalenDir, its affiliates, and their officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising out of or related to: (a) your use of the Services; (b) your User Content; (c) your interactions with employers, recruiters, or other users; or (d) your violation of these Terms or applicable law.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Services will be resolved through binding arbitration under the Dubai International Arbitration Centre (DIAC) rules, seated in Dubai, UAE, unless prohibited by applicable law. To the extent permitted, you agree to bring claims only on an individual basis and not as part of a class or representative action.

If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, that provision will be limited or removed to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.

These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy and any other legal notices or policies posted within the Services, constitute the entire agreement between you and TalenDir regarding your use of the Services and supersede any prior agreements, purchase orders, or understandings.

We may update these Terms at any time. We will post the updated Terms and revise the “Last Updated” date. If changes are material, we may provide additional notice where required. We may also modify, suspend, or discontinue features or plans as permitted by law. Continued use of the Services after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms to the extent permitted by law.
