TalenDir is a technology platform and intermediary—we are not an employer, recruitment agency, or guarantor of hiring outcomes. 1. Information We Collect
We collect information you provide directly, information generated automatically when you use the Services, and information from third parties when permitted. The categories below are non-exhaustive and may evolve as we improve the Services.
Information You Provide to Us
When you create an account, build a profile, post content, apply for jobs, use career tools, or communicate through the Services, you may provide:
- Profile and professional information: name, email, phone number, location, professional summary, work history, education, skills, certifications, licenses, portfolio links, preferences, and resume/cover letter content
- Account and authentication information: username, password or passkeys, MFA indicators, and third-party sign-in identifiers (e.g., Google/LinkedIn OAuth), where enabled
- Communications and social activity: messages, feedback, support requests, posts, comments, reactions, shares, endorsements, referrals, and any content you choose to publish or send
- Assessment and learning data: assessment responses, skill evaluations, course enrollments/completions, learning progress, and licensure-related inputs you provide
- Uploads and documents: resumes, credentials, licenses, certificates, PDFs, DOCX files, images, and other materials you choose to upload
- Payment and transaction information: billing details and transaction metadata processed via third-party payment providers (we typically do not store full card numbers)
Information We Collect Automatically
When you access or use the Services, we may automatically collect:
- Device and usage information: IP address, browser type, operating system, device identifiers, language settings, referring URLs, and pages/features viewed
- Activity and session data: login events, session duration, feature interactions, presence/heartbeat signals, clickstream events, and performance metrics used for reliability and security
- Cookies and similar technologies: cookies, local storage, web beacons, and similar tools used to run core features, protect accounts, and measure performance
- Security and fraud signals: authentication attempts, anomaly indicators, rate-limit events, and audit logs to detect abuse and protect users and the platform
- AI processing telemetry: limited logs about AI-assisted features (such as request type and performance), stored in aggregated, anonymized, or de-identified form where feasible
Information from Third Parties
We may receive information from third parties you connect to the Services or that help us operate the Services (for example, OAuth identity providers, verification services, analytics, and payment processors). We may also receive information from employers or other users (such as referral details) when they interact with you through the platform, to the extent permitted by law.
2. AI and Automated Processing
TalenDir uses automated tools and, where enabled, AI-assisted features to support the Services. Our primary AI provider today is Google Gemini (Google Cloud / Google AI), with OpenAI used as a secondary or fallback provider for specific tasks. Depending on the feature you use, processing may occur on TalenDir systems and/or through these specialized third-party processors under appropriate contractual protections (Data Processing Agreements). By using AI-assisted features, you consent to automated processing of your inputs for the purposes below:
- Resume parsing: automated extraction and structuring of skills, experience, and qualifications from uploaded documents
- Resume tailoring and rewriting: AI-assisted drafting, formatting, and role-specific improvement suggestions aligned to job descriptions you provide or select
- Profile headline and summary generation: suggestions for professional headlines, summaries, and profile content
- Job description generation: drafting and improving job descriptions and recruiter-facing content
- Job matching and ranking: ranking or recommending opportunities, candidates, or matches based on profile signals and preferences
- Recruiter communication assist: drafting or improving outreach, replies, and workflow messages
- Content moderation: automated detection of spam, abuse, unsafe content, and policy violations in social features
- Smart reply suggestions: suggested replies for social, messaging, and platform communication features
- Hashtag recommendations: suggested hashtags and social content signals for posts
- Career snapshot and insights: profile, skill, and career-summary insights
- Writing assistance: suggestions for professional posts, comments, summaries, application text, and any other AI-assisted feature clearly shown in the app
AI-assisted outputs are suggestions only and may be incomplete, inaccurate, biased, or outdated. You are solely responsible for reviewing, editing, verifying, and approving any output before you use it, publish it, or submit it to an employer or third party. TalenDir does not guarantee accuracy, acceptance, interviews, hiring decisions, or outcomes based on AI-assisted features.
3. How We Use Your Information
- Provide, operate, maintain, and improve the Services and user experience
- Create and manage accounts, authenticate users, and support multi-method sign-in where enabled
- Facilitate job discovery, applications, referrals, social engagement, assessments, and learning experiences
- Personalize features, rankings, and recommendations (including matching and career tools)
- Process payments, subscriptions, and digital services, and provide receipts and billing support
- Send service-related communications such as security alerts, confirmations, and operational notices
- Send marketing communications where permitted, with opt-out options as required by law
- Monitor, prevent, detect, investigate, and respond to fraud, abuse, security incidents, and violations of policies or Terms
- Comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements
- Analyze aggregated and de-identified usage patterns to improve reliability, safety, and performance
- Develop and improve AI-assisted features using aggregated and/or de-identified data where feasible and permitted
4. How We Share Your Information
We do not sell your personal data. We may share your information only as needed to operate the Services, facilitate your actions, and comply with law. Sharing may occur in the following circumstances (and similar situations):
- With employers and recruiters: when you apply for a job, request contact, share your profile, respond to opportunities, or choose visibility settings that allow employer access
- With other users: to the extent you choose to post publicly, comment, message, endorse, or participate in social features (your content may be viewed, reshared, or copied by others where platform functionality allows)
- With service providers: vetted vendors that support hosting, analytics, email/SMS delivery, customer support, security, and payment processing, under contractual confidentiality and security obligations
- With employer tools and third-party platforms: to enable hiring workflows, your resume/profile and related application materials may be shared with employer systems or third-party platforms used by employers or by TalenDir (e.g., applicant tracking systems, assessment providers, scheduling, background/verification, HR systems) where necessary to deliver the Services or process your application
- For legal and safety reasons: to comply with legal obligations, respond to lawful requests, enforce our Terms, investigate fraud/abuse, and protect rights, safety, and property of TalenDir, our users, or the public
- Business transfers: in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, restructuring, or sale of assets (subject to appropriate protections)
- With your consent: when you explicitly authorize sharing or direct us to share
- AI and processing providers: for the limited purpose of providing AI-assisted features, content safety, or platform operations under appropriate safeguards
5. Your Rights and Choices
Your rights vary by jurisdiction. Subject to applicable law and necessary verification, you may have the right to:
- Access and update: view and update certain profile and account information through settings
- Delete: request deletion of your account and associated data (subject to retention, legal obligations, and technical limitations such as backups)
- Opt-out: opt out of marketing communications and certain optional data collection where available
- Data portability: request a copy of certain personal data in a portable format where required by law
- Withdraw consent: withdraw consent for processing where consent is the legal basis (this may limit features)
- AI opt-out: request exclusion from certain AI training or improvement datasets where feasible (note: some processing is required to deliver AI-assisted features you request)
6. Data Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. Measures may include encryption, access controls, secure authentication (including passkeys where enabled), monitoring, logging, and periodic reviews. However, no transmission or storage system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials and for using strong authentication settings.
7. Data Retention
We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the Services, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, and protect legitimate interests such as safety and fraud prevention. As a general guideline, account data may be retained for at least 6 months after account deletion for legal, audit, and security purposes, but we may retain certain records longer when required by law, needed for dispute resolution, or necessary to protect the platform. Some information may be de-identified and retained in aggregated form.
8. International Data Transfers
Core platform infrastructure is hosted primarily in the United Arab Emirates region, and operations also serve Jordan with an Amman branch planned. Your information may still be transferred to and processed in other countries when needed for cloud infrastructure, AI inference through Google Gemini (primary) or OpenAI (secondary/fallback), security, payments, analytics, support, or legal compliance. We take steps designed to ensure such transfers comply with applicable data protection laws and use appropriate safeguards where required (such as contractual protections, Data Processing Agreements, or other recognized transfer mechanisms).
9. Children's Privacy
Our Services are intended for individuals aged 18 and above. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we learn that we have collected personal information from a child, we will take reasonable steps to delete it.

We use cookies and similar technologies to support security, functionality, and performance. Where required, we provide cookie controls or consent choices.
