Account and data deletion

TalenDir lets users request deletion of their account and associated personal data from inside the app. We also accept deletion requests by email when you cannot access your account.
How to request account deletion
- Open TalenDir and sign in to your account.
- Go to Settings, then Account security.
- Select Delete account and confirm the deletion request.
- If you cannot sign in, email contact.us@talendir.com from the email address on your account and include the subject "Account deletion request".
Deleting some data without deleting your account
You can request deletion of selected personal data, such as profile information, uploaded resumes, photos, or assessment records, by emailing contact.us@talendir.com or by using the privacy controls in Settings when signed in.
Data we delete
- Account profile information, contact details, preferences, and authentication records where deletion is permitted.
- Candidate profile data, resumes, uploaded profile photos, applications, messages, and social content associated with your account where deletion is permitted.
- Recruiter or employer workspace data that is personal to your user account, subject to legal, contractual, and audit obligations.
Data we may retain
- Security, audit, fraud-prevention, billing, compliance, dispute, and legal records when retention is required or reasonably necessary.
- Records needed to protect other users, employers, candidates, or the integrity of the platform.
- Backups for a limited period until overwritten, and de-identified or aggregated analytics that no longer identify you.
Account deletion normally includes a 30-day cancellation window where supported by the account workflow. Some retained records may be kept for at least 6 months, or longer when required by law, security, fraud-prevention, dispute, tax, accounting, or regulatory obligations.
